Description

This is a 2 hour intensive session for people wanting to get to grips with the basics: Safe axe and knife techiniques suitable for carving spoons, or whittling any other functional, beautiful object. After the introduction session you can stay on for the weekly Spoon Moot social, and carve with confidence!

Every Pre-Moot session is 4pm-6pm – space is limited to 6 people.

Fantastic! Therapy, skills & creative too. Really enjoyed it and want to do more.

Suitable for absolute beginners, or more  seasoned woodworkers too. 18 years old and over, or 12+ if an adult and young person book together.

The course cost of £35 includes all tools, materials, tea, coffee and sweet edible fuel, plus free extra 2 hour Spoon Moot session immediatley afterward.

Cancellation policy: If you are unable to make a course date, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can offer the space to someone else. Workshop bookings cannot be postponed or refunded 14 days before the start time.
