Description

This is for you if… You know your way around the workshop, have some notion of what you’re doing and ideas for things you’d like to make, but perhaps not the space or tools or time to do it anywhere else.

Borrow a bench for as long as you need – just once or regularly – to carve out some time to work on your own thing: Painting, sculpture, whittling, furniture…  Other makers may be here also, and the workshop may be open to the public. The focus will be on you making on your own, with little input from us – we’ll  be engrossed in the project of the moment… Strange and interesting conversation, unexpected connections, and syncronistic meetings are included as standard.

£10 per hour per person –To properly suport the work and the space and us, thank you!
£7 per hour – A rconcession if any more feels too much for you at this time, we’re grateful for your support!
If you’re new here the initial hour will cover safe working, discussion of your project, tool use and how to be in the space in a good way.

Booking includes use of all tools, basic materials, tea coffee and whatever else is in the kitchen and help if we’re not busy.

Cancellation policy: If you are unable to make a course date, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can figure out something else to do with the day. We’re sorry, but one-to-one bookings cannot be cancelled, postponed or refunded 24 hours before the start time.
If for any reason we have to cancel a session then you will receive a full refund.
