Working by hand, with traditional tools, you’ll craft a handy carpenters mallet that will last a lifetime, in the process learning to make accurate, wedged mortice and tenon joints.
It’s a chance to give things a try – split fresh wood with a froe, ride a shavehorse to shape and refine, or have a go at working boldly with the axe and whittling with the knife. Whatever your ability this class is a suitable place to start a greenwood journey.
Course cost – £50, including all tools, materials, tea, coffee and something sweet.
